We are looking for a family/ couple to live in our house for 6 months (or it could be two groups for 3 months each.)
Our ideal would be a local family that needs to move out due to renovations, or a family here for a short time (perhaps due to a secondment). Pets such as dogs and cats are welcome (so long as they are well-behaved). There is a huge off-leash park and a golf course at the end of the street.
Our clean, bright, comfortable house is in a quiet, pleasant street. It is art-deco in style, warm in winter, cool in summer and includes:
· A good-sized master bedroom, with a queen sized bed, bedside table, chest-of drawers with mirror, double Built-in wardrobe, a fan and TV
· A kids’ room with bunk bed, double Built-in wardrobe
· A third bedroom with a sofa bed and TV -can be used as either a lounge room or another bedroom
· A study all set-up, lots of empty bookshelf space (just bring your laptop and printer), and more large empty book and CD shelves in the hallway.
· A large eat-in kitchen- includes a fridge, table and chairs for 6
· a driveway with enough room for 2 cars, and a covered car port
· a nice roomy backyard, with grass, a veggie patch, jasmine, neighbour’s overhanging frangipani trees, a huge outdoor setting with table, benches and chairs (for 10 people), a large wall-mounted foldable washing rack
· A sun-drenched deck with couch and coffee table (couch can also go in the kitchen if you decide to use the third bedroom as a bedroom).
· a laundry space (we can help you rent a washing machine if needed)
· A clean, white bathroom with a bath-shower and linen and toiletries cupboard
The house is 10 mn walk to UNSW, 15 mn walk to POW/ RHW, 15 mn bus ride to the city, 10 mn drive to Coogee beach. We are walking distance to Bonnie Doon, Eastlakes and near The Lakes Golf Courses. We are also walking distance to OLSH and St Spiridon and a short bus ride away to Randwick Girls/ Boys, Bridgidine and the Lycee Condorcet.
Depending on the age and gender of your kids, we could also leave assembled our swings, trampoline and other toys. We can also provide you with crockery, cutlery, kettle, cooking implements, another fan, heater, sheets and blankets, towels, beach-towels, lamps. NB the photos show our house as it is, we will remove the small objects and perhaps substitute some furniture (for example we have now installed a Queen sized bed. )
