I may be slightly premature in seeking accommodation now, but I will be heading to Indonesia shortly and am hoping to score a room that is ready to move into upon my return on 1 March 2010.

About me: I am a 26-year-old easy going Australian student who will be undertaking research on Indonesian Reggae and Rastafari at Sydney Uni next year. I am polite, friendly, laid-back and tidy; I enjoy a good time but am by no means a party animal (those days are behind me!). I have a passion for Asia, reggae, documentary film (I am a budding doco maker), international politics, sweet white wine, ridiculously spicy food and travel.

I have lived in share houses before and, whilst I do prefer living with guys, it really doesn't bother me whether my housemates are male, female, gay, straight, black, yellow or purple. I don't smoke, but I don't care if you smoke whatever you choose to smoke.

My Indonesian boyfriend may be coming to visit next year for a few weeks, so I would need housemates who are OK with that. Of course, I will contribute more rent when he does come.

With regards to price, I honestly don't know what I am prepared to spend. Obviously, the cheaper the better! I'll see what offers I get before I work out my finances. And with regards to location, I'd love somewhere close to Sydney Uni, but if I can get a decent cheap place away from the Uni but within easy reach of transportation, then that is great too!
