Looking for a double room, furnished and hopefully less than $250 p/w in a nice friendly share-house in Manly. Must be close to public transport.

Hi I'm Holly, 27 (not for long...), just winding up a year of travel in SE Asia and Africa - looking forward to getting back to Sydney and unpacking finally. I'm open to short or long-term accommodation - am heading back home to the UK for a couple of weeks over Christmas but if Ive found the right home I'd like to come back to it in the new year. I'm going back to study at TAFE next year so I'll be at college 4 days a week and working 2 days (argh!) but there's no worries about paying the rent in the meantime. Just learned to surf in Bali and I'm hoping to get stuck into it in Manly - still pretty rubbish though! Very sociable person but not what you'd call a party animal anymore - though I do try sometimes. Love to be able to share meals with my housemates every now and again.

Home to me is somewhere I can relax and have nice chats with my flatmates over dinner, wine or a nice cuppa. I've lived in the city for a while and most of my friends are there so, while I'll still be heading out in the city a bit, I'd like to be able to socialise with my housemates and get to know people in the area too. Friendly, fun and chilled out people would be perfect. I'm tidy but not a clean freak so looking for compatible housemates to keep the balance.
