Sea Life Reef Master 35mm film
Underwater Camera
depth tested to 50m (164ft)
fantastic underwater camera from the leading manufacturer of dive cameras: Sea Life.
this is NOT a digital camera. it is a 35mm film camera but it has a state of the art waterproof deep dive housing and it is much easier to use for amateur photography as it does not have small complicated buttons.
the camera is depth tested to 50m (164ft).
it includes:
- Sea Life Reef Master Automatic Land and Sea Camera (which can be removed from its housing and used as a land camera)
- Sea Life Macro 3x Close up Lens / underwater filter (to reduce the blue effect underwater)
- Sea Life Care Kit for Cleaning
- instruction booklet "great pictures made easy"
- 2 KODAK 35mm films ISO 400
---------------
The camera is very easy to use underwater as it has a LARGE shutter release (easy to press with gloves on).
There is a removable viewfinder on the top which means that you can easily see what you are pointing at rather than trying to look through the lens with mask etc on.
Note: one of the feet of the viewfinder is slightly cracked as it was inserted the wrong way round. it still holds securely in place but i wanted to point out any flaw i noticed.
the camera has an orange coral flash to add colour to the pictures and reduce the blue effect underwater.
the housing is very easy to hold and is not slippery at all when wet.
there is also a screw mounting in the bottom of the housing (in case you want to dive with a tripod).
the sea life macro 3x close up lens is removable, so you can flick it on and off as you dive.
i have tested the internal camera and it seems to be working well and i have tested the housing in my sink and it is still perfectly waterproof.
the camera uses regular 35mm films (at least ISO 200 recommended) and runs on 2 AA batteries. Batteries not included.
