I´m upgrading from my trusted Olympus C-750 Ultra Zoom (10x) with original Olympus Underwater Housing (PT-018) depth rated to 40m. (Self tested to 50m+ in the icy cold waters of the Norwegian Fjords!)

This is a great camera for someone just starting to take pictures under water, but do not want to spend too much money on the most expensive, fancy stuff, right away.

The camera uses 4 AA batteries, therefore you never have to worry about running out of battery, as you can always buy a new set in the nearest shop. I have preferred to use two sets of rechargeable batteries when out diving.

The camera have been used underwater on four different continents: Europe (Norway), South America (Brazil), Asia, (Borneo) and Australia (Sydney)

The camera still takes excellent photos both over and underwater, and there are a multitude of pre-set settings available, in addition to full manual control. One have full control of all the functions also when using the UW housing.
