Advanced Photo System (APS)

Up for sale I have one of my best cameras that I have ever owned.

Never any hassles with it always takes excellent photos depending on your settings as per normal for all cameras.

It is still in perfect working order, glass Lens not scratched protected from the flip flash.

I can not notice any scratches on the unit as it has always been kept in the leather pouch.

I would rate the camera and pouch 9 to 9.5 out of 10

You wont be disappointed.

You can take Classic (C), Group/HDTV (H)*, and Panoramic (P) pictures on the same film cassette.

·        High Definition Television (HDTV) prints are the same aspect ratio as the TV for CD interface capabilities.

When selecting desired format (C, H, or P). The viewfinder will change to show the selected field of view.

 

APS cameras—simple and convenient
The main advantages of APS cameras are their simplicity and convenience. It's hard (not quite impossible) to do anything wrong with an APS camera. Their most beneficial features include:

• Lightweight and extremely compact
• Drop-in film loading
• Three picture formats: panoramic, wide-angle group, classic
• Mid-roll removal in case you want to change film
• Index print that displays all the pictures you took
• Records camera/exposure information in the film so the photofinisher can improve prints automatically

Taking Flash Pictures

In dim light, such as indoors or outdoors in heavy shade, or on dark overcast days, you need flash. Your camera features an automatic flash that fires when you need it. The flip-up flash helps to minimize red eyes in flash pictures and to prevent hand obstruction in front of the lens. When you partially depress the shutter button and the flash/camera-ready lamp turns off and the fill-flash indicator stops blinking, the flash is fully charged and ready for picture-taking.

Loading the Film

You can load film into the camera with the camera ON or OFF.

Film Status Indicator (FSI)

A highlighted indicator advances from one symbol to another to identify the status of the film inside the cassette.

This camera uses 2 AAA-size alkaline KODAK K3A (or equivalent) Batteries that supply power for all camera operations.

Power shut-off

To save battery power, the camera will automatically go into a sleep mode if it is not operated for more than 4 minutes. You can press the SHUTTER BUTTON or close and reopen the LENS COVER/FLASH to awaken the camera.

Selecting the Flash and Self-Timer Modes

Besides the auto-flash mode, you can select fill flash, flash off, self-timer, and nighttime-view with or without flash.

Unloading the Film

The camera automatically rewinds the film into the cassette after the last exposure.

Please note that this sale is for the camera and leather pouch which goes onto  your pants belt. The film cartridge in photo is only to show you what film it uses, the film does not come with it.

They are not expensive and are very common, can be bought at local shops or a camera shop.

When developing photos you can have it put to CD for your record and you are able to do anything with the photos on computer.

 

PLEASE NOTE that you don’t have to develop the photo’s from your cartridge and pay money for photo’s. PUT them onto a CD and view them on your computer.

I used to get charged $5 to put all photo’s on a CD (40 EXP) that price included the CD as well, that was from a local camera shop. 

I always used 40 EXP which means you can take 40 pictures there is 25 plus others.
