3 Mobile phone contract to be transferred

I recently purchased an Apple iPhone 3GS from 3 on a new $49 contract (plus $5 for handset = $54 a month).  I already have a mobile phone with 3, but I bought new iPhone with them without knowing that I could've upgraded to an iPhone porting my old mobile number to the new iPhone.  Now that I have purchased the iPhone on a new contract, they have given me a new number and informed I cannot move my old number to the iPhone.  I dont want to lost my old number because that is the number I have been having for 2 years and that is the number people contact me on.  So, I asked 3 about transferring the contract (with the iPhone of course) to a friend and they said I can do that if my friend clears the online credit check.  So, if anyone wants a new iPhone on a $49 2-year contract with 3, then they can contact me and once the transfer is over, I will send the mobile by post or as agreed.  The phone and contract were purchased on 8/10/09 and I have not used the iPhone since.  It is new.  You can call me on 0433004884 or email at vprahaladhan@hotmail.com or vprahaladhan@yahoo.com for more details.  Remember, I can only send the phone if you pass the credit check and if  I am satisfied that the transfer has been through.
