Jim, a pilot, who lives in Switzerland is sent a surprise from his sister from New York City. The surprise is George, a St Bernard. The dog and Jim are an unlikely pair. Trouble seems to follow George around, often costing Jim a lot of money and anguish. Jim sends George away to live with the monks. George runs away from his new home and gets lost in the mountains. Jim's adventure with George continues when he sets out to search for George in his plane. A lovable story for all the family showing us why a dog is truly man's best friend.
