One of Australia's most successful and prominent listed companies, who have a strong presence in the Illawarra has an opportunity for an experienced HR Professional to join one of their mining sites for a 7 week contract commencing early December through to early February.
 
 
 
This is a hands-on operational role requiring a HR practitioner with experience across all aspects of HR with solid working knowledge of ER and IR.
 
The incumbent will be onsite and therefore the initial point of contact for many and varied enquires.  You will guide and support managers to resolve any performance issues or grievances whilst utilising policy and legislative frameworks to ensure appropriate response at the operational level.
 
You will also be responsible for HR reporting, preparation of, and ongoing liaison with payroll, recruitment and selection, input into any related projects and ongoing maintenance of HR related records and systems.
 
 
 
The preferred candidate will have a demonstrated track record in a HR Manager/Business Partner/Advisory capacity in a hands-on and  multifaceted environment. Being the first point of contact for your client, excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with a strong focus on supporting and providing solutions is key. SAP experience is highly regarded as is working knowledge of other large enterprise/HR systems.
 
 
 
A highly competitive hourly rate is on offer.
