Wanted: Comic/Cartoon strip artist looking for work/drawing opportunity

Hey,

My name is Eddie and I’m looking for a part-time job as a cartoon/comic strip artist.

I’m a uni student and between my uni workload and my society committee work, I hardly can find a job to get some side incomes. So I thought I might have to try out every last bit of possibility to earn some expense money with it.

I have no experience in working with big companies or anything but I do have experience submitting my comics for several college magazines and newsletters as page fillers and they did get complimented by the editorial boards. All of my comics are hand drawn and colored using Adobe Photoshop. Main ideas in my comics are mainly random, humorous ideas I have in regards to the world around me. The editorial was impressed with the simplicity of ideas in the comics I’ve drawn, and I believe that comic strips should always be kept simple, and does not always have to be politically inclined or negatively cynical about world/social issues. Of course, i'm pretty flexible with this =)

If you are having a magazine/newsletter/webpage produced and you think having a one/two-page comic/cartoon strip included among the pages will be a great feature, do contact me and I’ll be more than happy to come up with something to be put up in your magazine. I’m not sure in setting the price for my drawings but I’m thinking I will accept how much payment you’d have for me based on how satisfied you are with my work (preferably, not that low though… maybe around $20 per page?)
