Our client is looking for a temporary receptionist for a 2 week assignment based in the city.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Attending to the switchboard
  • Answering all incoming calls promptly and in a professional yet courteous manner
  • Welcome visitors in a friendly manner
  • Open and sort incoming mail
  • Franking all outgoing mail and ensuring franking machine is always in credit
  • Arranging couriers
  • Distribute faxes and reports
  • Maintain attendance reports
  • Ensure office equipment is in good working order
  • Secretarial and administrative assistance as and when required

Experience and attributes
  • Superior communication skills
  • Courteous and professional manner
  • Ability to liaise with people on all levels
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Switchboard experience is preferred but not essential
  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • Positive and friendly manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A team player
  • Enjoy responsibility and take pride in your work
  • Basic - Intermediate computer skills
