Nanny/ Childcare Helper Required

 

Hi There!

We are seeking a childcare helper/ Nanny each Thursday for our three year old son at our place in Forestville area. Hours 8am - 2pm (but may require longer). Some sole charge care is required. Non Smoker. Start A.S.A.P.

 

Our son has a disability so previous work with children who have special needs would be an advantage (although not mandatory).

 

We require someone who loves working with children and is really confident and full of ‘get up and go’. You’ll have solid childcare experience and be very warm and caring with a keen intuition & level-head.  You'll also be strong (he is a fairly tall boy and requires moderate lifting during the day), really organised & details focused. You will love going for walks and be able to accompany him to hydrotherapy swimming  lessons (so you must be able to swim).  You will also have lots of fun ideas for playtime. Help with light chores (e.g. ironing) during his nap time would also be appreciated.

 

Excellent references (including Police Check), current first-aid training and a full drivers license are required. You must have excellent English. Please also note you'll need to obtain / provide your own Nanny Insurance through NannySure. Registered childcarers with the FAO (Family Assistance Office) will be highly regarded.
