Cascade Care is the only dedicated disability respite agency in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.

We are currently recruiting for causal/part-time respite carers for work in Eastern and Southern Sydney.

As a carer your job is to provide respite to people with a disability in any of the following either in home respite (staying at home with the person while the family has a break), or out in the community (accompanying an adult or child with a disability to access an age appropriate activity 1:1 or as a group).

This is often the only respite for families from the demands of looking after a disabled child, and enables them to participate in much needed every day and enjoyable activities that many of us take for granted.

We can provide staff with a regular weekly shift and this and would suit students studying a health/science related course.

Essential:

First Aid certificate

Experience and interest in working with people with disabilities

Desirable:

Drivers License

Own Transport comprehensively insured

Cert IV Disability

Rates start at $20 per hour.

Working with Children background check and National Criminal History checks apply
