Farmhand

GARAH, NSW.  A permanent/temporary Farmhand is required for a family owned operation located North West of Moree.  This farm is 4000ha and grows Wheat, Barley, Chickpeas, Sunflowers and Sorghum as well as running 180 head of cattle..  The successful applicant's duties will include tractor work, planting, cultivation, spraying as well as maintenance of machinery, cattle work, fencing and other general farm work.  It is preferable that the successful applicant possess skills in cultivating, fertilising, planting, ploughing, seeding, spraying, tilling and can operate motorbikes, 4WD tractors, front end loader, spray rigs and have experience operating machinery with the guidance of GPS systems. 
40-60 hours a week will be worked with some weekends worked during the busier periods.  A car and HC license are essential as is your own personal transport.  Accommodation is provided in the form of a 2 bedroom air-conditioned, fully furnished home with the successful applicant being fully kept.  Wages are to be negotiated depending on skills and experience of the successful applicant.  This position is to start in July 2008.  For further enquires please contact Outback International.
