UNIX shell scripting Technical Test Analyst/Test Environment Coordinator Consultant required for a Major financial company for an initial 6 month contract to start ASAP with every possibility of extension. This is a great contract working with an exciting company and a fantastic opportunity.
 
Key Accountabilities:  
  • Create and maintain test cases
  • Conduct test execution
  • Co-ordinate signoff of UAT results
  • Schedule Refreshes/Clones of Test Environment
  • Co-ordinate all efforts required to implement changes within the test environments
  • Conduct shakedown testing of refreshed environments
 
Skills/Experience Required:
 
  • Three to fours years testing experience, including the development of test cases, preparing test data and performing testing in a large structured environment
  • At least one year experience in UNIX shell scripting Technical testing
  • Solid Financial Services experience essential, ideally Oracle E-Business or similar and strong GL experience
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with staff at all levels
  • Good knowledge and understanding of SDLC, various QA and Testing Methodologies
  • Solid Experience in Unix shell scripting skills – Technical testing
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and performs multiple tasks under minimal supervision.
