Our client is a highly respected and reputable IT integrator and currently seeks a Networking tool specialist to join their team. The role will be working with a large number of government accounts and it is therefore essential that the successful candidate currently has protected security clearance or have held some kind of security clearance in the past.
The roles primary responsibilities will revolve around providing specialised network trend analysis and support to clients using tools such as Compuware Network Vantage, Ciscoworks and HP Openview as well as monitoring anti-virus updates, providing scheduled reports and trend analysis and also assisting with fault analysis, problem management and service improvement.
To be successful in this role the candidate will ideally have worked for a systems integrator and have the following technical skills and experience;
· Strong administrative level experience with the HP Open View Suite of products such as OVO, OVPI, OVIS, HPSD
· Strong administrative ciscoworks experience
· PIX and netscreen firewall
· Cisco routers and switches
· Juniper M and J series switches
· IPSEC VPN and MPLS solutions
· Experience designing LAN and WAN communication networks (highly desirable)
