This organisation is a preeminent international financial institution. They currently require a talented and experienced .NET Analyst Programmer to join an existing team of 2 that develops applications supporting the equities cash trading business.
 
 
You will be joining an existing talented team in an Agile environment and an "employer-of-choice" organisation. This is a Rapid Application Development position so projects (which will mostly be new) will be between 2 days and 3 weeks and covering front, middle and back office.
 
 
For developers with financial experience, this would be a great chance to get into a varied and diverse role and to take ownership of smaller projects covering the end-to-end trading cycle. For developers without financial experience, this is an outstanding opportunity to get experience and to learn skills with finance specific technology including FIDESSA and IRESS.
 
 
In order to be successful in this role, you must have the following:
 
  • excellent communication skills and presentation
  • expert level programming skills using C# and ASP.NET ( .NET 3.5 )
  • Winforms / Webforms
  • advanced SQL Server skills
  • previous experience in a front office environment is desirable but not essential - a genuine interest in financial markets and desire to learn more can compensate
  • experience with IRESS and / or FIDESSA would be advantageous
