This organisation is recognised as one of the top vendors of trading technology worldwide with a client base of some of the world's leading financial institutions. They are currently recruiting a professional organised individual for a FIX Connectivity and Trading Applications Support role.
 
 
In this national role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting new and existing dealing products, UAT and ensuring the performance of the FIX protocol connections. You will also be liaising with internal and external clients in the production environment
 
 
To be successful for this role you must have:
 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • At least five years experience in the finance industry, preferably in a banking or trading system vendor environment
  • A good thorough understanding of equity markets and financial instruments
  • Advanced skills and experience with FIX protocol (eg CameronFIX)
  • Experience with Windows and UNIX platform 
  • Good practical experience with and knowledge of OMSs (Order Management Systems), order routing and trading systems / trading platform
  • Expertise in User Acceptance Testing
  • University qualification/s
  • Good attention to detail 
  • A professional and organised approach
