MY
Work experince:
2004-2008. sushi chef/sous chef
2003-2004. florist
2002-2003. bartender
1995-2002. dental assistant
1993-1995. secretary, personal assistant
I started to work as a sushi chef in Hungary in 2004 at Tom&George Restaurant (it was voted twice as a Best Restaurant in 2002 and 2004 in Budapest). I had a japanese master and he gave me the best of his knowledge and skills. I could study the traditional sushi making method and how I should work the most optimal way with passionate commitment.
After 2 years I left T&G because I recieved an offer from a new restaurant Callas for a higher position as sous chef. There I worked independently, I was responsible for ordering ingredients, materials and raw items, taking over the products after checking cleaning, freezing, boiling, roasting, marinating with the appropriate method than making and serving orders, working in front of the clients, writing menus and taking care of stocks. After I left this restaurant for a short time I went to England to get to know running sushi and fast food service. I was working in YO!Sushi Brighton from 2007 Nov-2008 March as a sous chef. I was offered a head chef position but I had to refuse because I thougt my caliber and my english language was not good enough for that high position. So I came back to Hungary and returned to Callas.
Later I spent a couple of months in Wasabi the first running sushi restaurant in Hungary. I was working in hospitality till last September.
After that I was not employee at any restaurants because I started to study english and multimedia programming . However, if any of the head chefs asked me to jump in to help them temporarly in their restaurant I was ready to go gladly.
And now again I am ready to work!
I am motivated, flexible and hardworking with my work. I dont mind working as a team member or bymyself and I like making traditional sushi or fast food as well passionately.
