We are currently looking for a Cook with a passion for quality food and the willingness to be an active part of this new cafe/wine bar that will be opening in Newtown.
We need someone that is part of the team, to create a new menu with our idea and work with us to create a tapas style, Euro cuisine in the heart of Newtown.

Hours position are up for discussion:
Trading Hours - Morning, Morning, Lunch & Night 6 days a week
In this role, your key duties will include…

All aspects of food preparation
Cooking of a variety of cuisine
Menu design using local produce
Planning and creating daily /weekly specials.
Knowledge of food hygiene and cleaning principles

To be the successful Applicant, it is essential that you…

Are reliable and honest
Are punctual and hardworking
Are self-motivated with a positive energy
Are capable and confident in your work ability
Are experience cook or chef with extensive experience
Will meet budgets - food and wages
Have references and proven previous experience
Must be creative and adventurous with meal ideas
Must have excellent communication skills
Must be fluent in speaking and reading of English language
Must be Australian resident or be eligible to work within Australia
