Our client is regarded as one of the best Wealth Management institutions in Australia with many accolades to their name. 

Due to the promotion of the incumbent, a rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join their 7-person Paraplanner team in a senior capacity.  Reporting direct to the Team Manager, you will help coordinate the functions of the team as well as directly supporting their Advisers all around Australia.  You will use state-of-the-art software, systems and workflow design.

Befitting such an opportunity, we are looking for an experienced Paraplanner with experience 'across the board' – i.e., Managed funds, Direct shares, Derivatives, Property, Deposits, Loans, etc. as well as in Risk, Super, SMSF, Tax effective strategies and with Estate planning.  

To be considered we require applicants with :  

• At least 3 years Paraplanning experience gained in either a boutique practice or financial institution.  (Whilst this suggests a ‘Career Planner’, those looking to progress into an Advisory role will also be considered). 
• Several years industry experience.  Given the seniority of the role within the team we require Candidates with supervisory / mentoring experience and ability as well as a solid industry presence.  
• ADFS(FP) a minimum requirement.  Further CA / CPA/ CFP qualifications welcomed.   
• Ability to hit the ground running, and able to work autonomously as well as in a team.   
• Excellent communication skills including strong English written skills are essential.     
• Strong Financial Planning Software experience (COIN, Xplan or Visiplan).
