Outstanding opportunity has arisen to join a well-established, successful, large financial services organisation's stable Accounting team as the Management Accountant
Description:
This is a newly created role due to expansion and you will be reporting directly into the Finance Manager as their 2nd in charge. Succession planning has been discussed for the successful candidate and there are strong promotional opportunities.
The purpose of this position is to add value to the financial analysis of the current and potential core products and service offerings, provide recommendations to improve profitability, look at the management reporting and the annual budget process.
Key responsibilities will include the following and you must have prior proven experience in these areas :-
Implementation of cost centre reporting framework
KPI identification, tracking & trend analysis
Risk management reporting
Financial analysis
Costing of interest rate changes & the impact of changes to key product settings
Annual budget preparation
Budget variance analysis & reporting
Preparation of monthly board reports
Preparation of ratio & statistical information
You must be CA/CPA qualified, have strong communication skills and have a strong background with systems. Financial Services experience is essential as is knowledge of APRA standards. You must also possess previous supervisory experience.
