Professional Practice with a Friendly and Supportive Team Culture looking for an equally friendly and switched-on Admin. / Client Service Officer…. Ideal role for someone with at least some prior industry experience living local to Sydney North Shore....   

Our client operates a successful Financial Planning Practice on the Upper North Shore.  This new role entails:  

  • Back-up PA/Receptionist (e.g., when they are on holiday) 
  • Helping with client investment and insurance applications
  • Arranging and recording client meetings and organising all pre-meeting documentation
  • Speaking to clients on the phone and contacting them via email. 
  • Organising Portfolio and Insurance summaries
  • Ensuring client Investment transactions and rollovers are tracked through to completion
  • Helping with Life Insurance quotes and tracking applications, medicals, etc.
  • Keeping track of any Account amendments and tracking all client implementations in their Visiplan Software, and Informing clients of successful task completions
  • Other CSO duties as required.

You will be working alongside a Senior Paraplanner and Client Services Manager and will work closely with the Senior Financial Planner.  

To be successful in this role you will have:  

  • Strong attention to detail, high numeracy skills, and possess excellent English language skills (verbal and written)
  • Lots of enthusiasm, energy, initiative, common sense, a strong ‘value-set’ and a professional work attitude
  • Excellent client facing skills (i.e., presentation, courtesy, politeness)
  • Dedicated to doing your best and in self-improvement, be a good multi-tasker, flexible and resourceful in getting the work done 
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Finally, an individual with at least some industry experience gained in Investments and/or Insurance Administration would be ideally suited, and whilst Diploma of Financial Services (DFS) subjects would be welcomed, they are not as important as having the personal attributes mentioned above.
