Assistant Finance Manager

The Company Located in the heart of Sydney's CBD, our client is a well respected and highly regarded organisation with a strong presence within the Asia Pacific Region. Specialising within the Hospitality industry, our client is continuing to go from strength to strength enabling them to become a dominant player within there market! The Role Reporting directly through to the Vice President of Finance, you as the Assistant Finance Manager will be working very closely with the VP of Finance in the day to day accounting operations alongside being responsible of a team of your own! You will be primarily responsible for:

• Assisting the VP of Finance in group financial reporting
• Business budgeting and forecasting
• Managing a team of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable staff
• Assisting all departments through feedback and advice to achieve maximum efficiency and profitability
• Reviewing and ensuring all Properties across Australia and NZ comply to the company's standards etc
• Assist in the implementation of a new PMS system

You! You will be a self-motivated and diligent individual who has had previous experience from within the Hospitality industry alongside having the passion and desire to stay within the industry. To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills and attributes

• Previous experience in a similar role from within the Hotel Industry
• Solid knowledge of a PMS (Property Management System) such as Maxial, Opera or Fidelio
• Proven staff management experience
• Solid knowledge of financial and management accounting from within the hospitality industry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Tertiary qualifications of working towards qualification
