Assistant Accountant

The Company Based in Sydney's CBD, our client is a recognisable brand within the consumer market. With a strong presence in both the international and domestic markets, they continue to go from strength to strength enabling them to become a dominant player within their field! The Role Reporting directly through to the Divisional Finance Manager, you as the Assistant Accountant will primarily be responsible for assisting the Finance Manager in the day to day operations of the Accounting function. This will entail but not be limited to:

• Perform general ledger reconciliations
• Preparation of management accounts
• Assisting in the month end processing
• Assisting in producing relevant reports
• Ad hoc duties as required

You As the Assistant Accountant, you will be a driven and self-motivated individual that is seeking to pursue a career within the financial services industry. To be successful, you will have the following skills and attributes:

• Tertiary qualifications in an Accounting related field
• Ideally have experience from within the Financial Services Industry
• Attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong excel and computer skills
