This well established company, in the Hospitality Industry, is currently on the lookout for an Assistant Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis.
 
This is a challenging role working closely with the Senior Accountant overseeing a group of companies with monthly recording and reporting of financial information.
 
You will have a variety of tasks including:
 
  • Payroll
  • Accounts payable, reconciliation & payment
  • Sales Reconciliations & Forecasting
  • Inventory management and purchasing controls
  • Preparation of monthly general entries, ledger reconciliations & reports
  • Assist with annual budgets
 
If you have  accounting experience, have excellent communication skills and consider yourself a pro-active self starter, then this may be the opportunity you have been looking for.
 
Your extensive experience with MYOB/QuickBooks & well developed Excel skills, coupled with a strong attention to detail and flexible attitude, will see you thrive in this position. Previous exposure to the Hospitality Industry will be advantageous.
 
You will be a member of a friendly accounts team and have the opportunity to be in a stimulating, varied role.
