Following the successful release of the interactive children’s book What Can I See? - Chloe and Jack’s Adventure Under The Sea, author Marcia Morales will embark on a new series of nine free children’s book readings in Angus & Robertson bookstores across greater Sydney 4 July - 29 August.

The first in a series of educational children’s books, What Can I See? embraces a new literacy and numeracy learning concept with a story that triggers the five senses. Marcia Morales says her first book is aimed at 2-6 year olds and is designed to creatively engage children.

“Chloe and Jack’s Adventure Under The Sea is a fun-filled tale about two friends who find a magical under water world inside a cardboard box in their garden. They go exploring the ocean floor and stretch their imaginations by observing the taste, touch, smell, sight and sound of all the wild things under the sea,” she says.

Morales says her adventure stories “are designed to really get other children thinking, observing, and most importantly venturing outside their boundaries.”

Morales who works as a consultant training adults with new technology is published in Australia by Long Media and retails her book for $14.95 through her website http://www.can-i-c.com and through Angus &Robertson stores nationwide.

Marcia Morales will be at all six local readings in Rhodes, Manly, Burwood, Liverpool, Brookvale and Chatswood. She is happy to answer questions, sign books and explain the teaching model to parents one-on-one a these free events open to children 2-12 and parents. All book readings will be accompanied by a children's activity to directly follow the story. Some children will be engaged with a fun half hour of face painting, while others get to join a colouring exercise following the theme ‘Under The Sea’.
