Hi, I'm Con, 25, irish, myself and two friends (Barry(irish), Helen(english) and of similar age) will be doing the east coast on the above dates. We plan to be back in Melbourne for the Melbourne Cup which starts on the 1st of November. We have no real plans on how we will travel down but we were thinking of getting a camper-van for the trip, therefore we would ideally need one more person to split the costs with. We will be staying in Cairns on the 12th(Gilligan's Backpackers) and hoping to hit the road on the 13th. We plan to hit all the major spots on the way down whitsundays, friaser island,Airlie Beach, Byron Bay, Brisbane, Sydney etc. The three of us are easy-going, up for a laugh and love socialising, so if anyone is interested in joining us, drop me a mail.
