good pup, but must give her up for a couple of different reasons. I have 3 young girls, and so a severe lack of the time she needs, and not a good fit for our family. Which, to be fair, could be due to a lack of exercise, because of the lack of time.
Staffy x Maltese, about 9 months old. She is a fluffy brindley colour. She is smart, learns fast. potty trained, understands her claws scratch, doesnt bite, very gentle with children, even my 1 year old who used to grab her ears etc. wont jump on my 1yo, and when she does jump on us, she is gentle, barely touches, and should be easy to finish up her 'no jump' training if it bothers you. When playing, she fetches, enjoys some tugowar, and is careful where she puts her teeth on the toy so as not to accidentally get your hand. She knows she isnt allowed to lick faces, and wont jump to lick my 1yo's face anymore. Knows: stay, no, go, ow!, down, back, come. will do them(/ react appropriately) every time. Other commands she knows, but doesnt always perform: sit, drop, shake(hands), say please. She used to know "go toilet". Walks on a lead, really well with no distractions; with lots of people / cars around she tends to pull a little more, but just needs some de-sensitising, she is getting better. Whenever I walk her, I get people doting on her, asking what breed she is, saying how unusual, cute, and well-behaved she is. She isnt a yapper, she gives a warning bark when there is someone outside. She isnt de-sexed, and is currently in her first heat. Been de-flead, dewormed, all within the last month, no fleas or worms. She did have both when we got her 4-5 months ago, we got rid of them both, and have been keeping up on both treatments. Fleas have been gone totally for more than 3 months now. She doesnt like to be alone tho, so would reccommend either having another dog for company, or just having someone with her all the time. She will love her owner dearly, always wanting to be close. Pick up only, from Penrith. It wont let me upload even a tiny photo, so if you want photos, send me an email. Sorry for long-winded description, I'm going to miss her, and want her to go to the right home. |
