Alchemy A Cappella has been together for about 6 years and our only male tenor just moved up north to retire!

We need sopranos, male tenors (we have 2 female tenors at present) and basses.  Sight-reading is desirable but if you can navigate sheet music and learn reasonably quickly then this would be great. We tend to learn repertoire fast so experienced singers who have a basic understanding of music are preferable.

We rehearse on Thursday evenings, 7:30pm - 9:30pm at Petersham Salvation Army Citadel, a few kilometres out of the city of Sydney just off Parramatta Road (10 Charles Street). 

Our main gigs are weddings and christmas parties/events.

Repertoire includes: Oh Happy Day, Till There Was You, Walk in the Light, Lean on Me, The Chapel of Love, Hallelujah I Just Love Him So, You've Got A Friend, Caravan of Love, I Can See Clearly Now etc.

Membership to Alchemy A Cappella is via audition. There is an annual membership fee of $30 + a $10 annual cash contribution to Tea and Tim Tams.  All fees from gigs are banked and the income is used to pay for our expenses such as Public Liability Insurance, Repertoire, Hall Hire, etc.

Ronelle Knowles is the Musical Director and would love to hear from you either by email or telephone.  Please call in the evenings after 8:30pm (I'm unavailable Tuesdays and Thursdays in the evenings for phone calls).  You can come and check us out to see if you like what we do, and have a sing with us and then decide if you want to audition the following week.  Please email or call if you plan to attend a preview rehearsal.
