Based on VW Type 3 Frame is a fully rebuilt base for most kit cars or use to modify your VW.
This chassis was sandblasted, rust proofed, primed and painted. Done properly first time means it is right for a long time!
FUEL
* New fuel tank and electric fuel pump.
BRAKES
* New Ford Falcon stud pattern front VW discs. Front discs serviced.
* Rear EL Ford Falcon rear discs serviced (new kits). New hand brake cable fitted. * Full L Series Subaru brake system installed including master cyclinder
ENGINE
* EA 82 1.8 litre Subaru L Series overhead cam engine fitted using professionally engineered adaptor plate. Engine good compression. New lifters fitted left side. * New lifters for right side included but not fitted. - Please note that this chassis can have a WRX 2litre turbo as the engine is the same size and slots straight in.
Linked to a 5 speed T3 Kombi gearbox. (Worth $3,000 approx) Most kit cars have cheap 4 speed only – so very rare!
* This is a rear engine and radiator installation with more than adequate air scoops venting into the rear engine compartment.
* New head gaskets, oil pump seals and O rings fitted. Full emission control gear fitted.
