HAYNES HUNTER V
I have on offer my 19 foot, V19 Haynes Hunter, with 327 chev.
As you can see, this boat is under refit, that i can no longer
finish due to time & distance. No time, & to far to work on
for me.
If your not familiar with these boats, they are renowned for thier
stability in rough weather & make a great open going fishing boat,
or a social ski boat, with plenty of room.
The boat needs to be finished off, so i am listing it as a project boat, and is incomplete.
I have replaced the main stringers & ribs, which are glassed in & painted. The floor is in and glassed also. The side pockets need to be made up and installed. I left these out due to buyer installing to personal design.
The hull is spot on. Its a hard chine Baby Bertram Hull, taken from the very popular 25ft & 28 ft Bertam flybridge Cruiser. I am told Haynes paid royalties to Bertram to use their design for these & other boats.
The deck is in good condition & needs some minor finishing off work, if you want it perfect, transom is perfect, winscreen could be replaced or reglassed/ reperspexed.
The motor is a 327ci Chev (virgin bores).
* Fully recoed heads set up for Gas or ULP.
* Quality water cooled exhaust mainfolds.
* Fresh water cooled heat exchanger.
* Twin point dizzy.
* Brand new "Speed Pro" +30 piston kit.
* Wieand performance manifold.
Motor stand included.
Other bits and peices for the motor are their, rockers, push rods, lifters etc - minus sump & rockers covers (again buyer can buy as per personal design).
The leg is the ever strong OMC 155. Its in perfect mechanical condition, we've had it apart for inspection, and the gears are excellent.
Trailer is solid, no problems for towing but not registered. Wheels are Ford, tyres good - 5 of.
Has other new bits & peices such as, aft white light, port & starboard lights, battery selection switch, All guages (petrol, temp, oil, amps, volts).
For someone who has the time to work on this boat, will have a boat that will last for many years to come, and provide you with pleasurable boating with safety a main plus.
